I was told as a young "born again" that I'm not supposed to be looking for a girlfriend, I'm supposed to keep my eyes on Jesus. If I notice a pretty girl walking by, that is lust. Lust is a sin. It's like I was supposed to walk around with my eyes covered up. They don't want boys looking at girls, but what is the alternative? They would absolutely freak out if a guy was attracted to another guy! And yet people are expected to get married. Wait, how do you get to marriage if you're never even allowed to talk to a girl? And supposedly the guy and the girl will both be virgins on their wedding night, and in the blink of an eye, suddenly they are getting down and dirty with each other, ripping their clothes off, and doing the nasty. WTF indeed! A single guy is supposed to have nothing but thoughts about Jesus, praying all day long, reading the Bible 24/7, going to church 7 days a week; and then the guy marries some woman and is suddenly a total beast in the bedroom, he becomes walking pornography (in the bedroom anyway - in public he's still supposed to project the image of holier than holy).
